The Pan-Mass Challenge is the nation’s original fundraising bike-a-thon and today raises more than any other athletic fundraising event in the country. Since 1980, the PMC has contributed $303 million to lifesaving cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) in Boston, Massachusetts. What makes the PMC unique that since 2007, corporate sponsorships have covered all of the overhead to ensure that 100% of donations can go directly to the DFCI.
About the event:
A tele-competition! Our goal is to harness the power and talent of the local inside sales community to raise funds for the 2012 Pan-Mass Challenge. This important and historic event relies on the kindness and generosity of local individuals like you, local businesses and corporate sponsors to contribute ~60% of Dana-Farber's annual fundraising.
That and HubSpot and The Bridge Group are partnering to help the Pan-Mass Challenge fund lifesaving cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. (It'll make you a better person.)
Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 4:00-6:00 PM EST. This event will be followed by a casual reception with dinner and prizes.
Co-sponsor HubSpot will be hosting the event at their offices in Cambridge, Massachusetts. They are located at 25 First Street and are easily accessible by public transportation or by car. There is plenty of available parking nearby.
